Frequently asked questions
If your question is not here, ask it in the quote form.
How long is each on-site training?
About 5 instructional hours plus breaks, usually 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM with a one-hour lunch. The length can be adjusted for your schedule.
How do I get started? Can I get a free cost quote?
Fill out the quote form. The quote is free, covers everything, and usually arrives within 2 business hours. You can also reach Laura Schaub at lauraschaub@ou.edu. Asking for a quote does not commit you to anything.
Can teachers get clock hours?
Districts typically grant them. The training supplies the paperwork: attendance documentation and training summaries for the district's own approval process.
Our calendar has no full day free. What then?
Ask for a split schedule. The training is flexible and can run in smaller pieces across multiple days.
Is there a college credit option?
It is, through University of Massachusetts Global (accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission). The limit is four graduate-level semester credits, and additional requirements and fees apply. See college credits for details.
Are handbooks included?
They are. Handbooks are printed for every participant and included in the price, and supplemental materials can be added.
Who teaches the training?
Laura Schaub, on site at your school. The home page has a short introduction.
